I love being able to present the Gospel of Jesus to children in the public school. We are truly blessed by the cooperation of the Colonial Hills staff and administrators. It is a pleasure to work with the children in Kids Club and see them grow in their faith. Donna Hines—Kids Club
Teen Time has been meeting at the Kerrybrook Apartments for three years. We sing, study Bible passages, do book studies, have lots of discussion of life issues according to Biblical perspectives, and of course, we eat. Thanks to Jesse and Mary Mize Hellums we are able to take the teens on a summer retreat each year. We have 10 wonderful students and this is what some of them shared about Teen Time. Homer Schott shares—The Kids Clubs at Kerrybrook Apartments and the SAMM Shelter have been ongoing for almost 4 years and 3 years, respectively. While the focus at both places is evangelism and discipleship, the children at Kerrybrook are also enjoying the English as a Second Language (ESL) time. We have seen improvement in some of the children as they are challenged to work on their English each week. Four of our Kerrybrook 5th graders who have been with us since 2nd grade, will be graduating to Teen Time at the end of this school year. All are strong believers, a result of our consis

One of our faithful volunteers of nine years, Robert Barry was featured in this quarter's NEISD community newsletter. Be sure to read the full article on page 4.
Youth who graduated from Kids Club began asking for meetings for themselves. Prayers were offered for three years while asking God for who he would supply to lead. Summer of 2017 Joshua and Ann Peterson (Ann is on the OWI Board) met with the young men for six weeks.
These young men shared the desire to have a permanent Teen Time meeting for themselves so in October 2017, Kerrybrook Teen Time was born. For now, five young men middle school through high school attend. In September of 2018, a group of up to four girls will form a Teen Time girls group.
January 21, 2018 one of our faithful Kids Club attendees was baptized! Now a fifth grader, Andrea has attended Kids Club at the local public school OWI is ministering in since third grade. When OWI started a Kids Club at her nearby apartment complex, she started going there as well—two Kids Clubs per week! Andrea’s mom attends the OWI ladies Bible study and her brother attends OWI Teen Time at the complex. What a blessing!
Each year, One Way International accepts donations for the Kids Club Christmas Gifts of Love. These donations are collected for Kids Club kids, to be able to give to their family members as Christmas gifts. Volunteers fill the OWI office a week or so before the donation is made to put together bright, fun and personal gift baskets which are then decorated with a large, cheerful red bow. On the day gifts are given out, more volunteers help unload a trailer and set up tables for the kids to do their "Christmas shopping".
