One Way International board members, present and past wish Homer Schott a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement! Many have been the hats that Homer has worn during his twenty year service with OWI. From inception in 2001, he was the one to do all the paperwork to get the ministry started. One of our volunteers lovingly nick-named him our “Kid-magnet!”
Homer has counseled countless children and individuals with the Gospel, taught innumerable Bible lessons, loved and cared for families of the children to whom we ministered, and gone on mission trips to Moldova and Nigeria with OWI. He has been our OWI bookkeeper, done more behind-the-scenes work than anyone could list, and overseen hundreds of volunteers. Homer has also taught children, teens, and adults how to share the Gospel and has been more valuable than anyone could put a price on. Homer is priceless and will be missed more than anyone can adequately express.
We are indeed thankful for him and indebted to him for the many years he served the Lord so faithfully. Please thank the Lord with us for Homer and pray for many years of healthy retirement in which he and Loyette can enjoy time with each other, their family, and doing things they have never had time to do until now. May God bless them richly.
