Each year, One Way International accepts donations for the Kids Club Christmas Gifts of Love. These donations are collected for Kids Club kids, to be able to give to their family members as Christmas gifts. Volunteers fill the OWI office a week or so before the donation is made to put together bright, fun and personal gift baskets which are then decorated with a large, cheerful red bow. On the day gifts are given out, more volunteers help unload a trailer and set up tables for the kids to do their "Christmas shopping". This gives the children an opportunity to experience the joy of giving to others this holiday season. Each child is also given a Bible, and this year, donations were made for each child to have a backpack with gifts for themselves as well. Kids Club at Christmas provides an opportunity to share the Gospel by reenacting the story of Christ's birth, and sharing in many well-known Christian Christmas carols. The children are also counseled in small groups and given Christ centered crafts to complete. After sharing in food and fellowship, our hope is that they recognize the ultimate gift of God's Son, Jesus. This is a big event only made possibly through the help of so many donations and volunteers like you. We want to extend a big heartfelt thank you to all those who helped make this possible.
