Donations for One Way International through Valero’s Champions fore Charity total over $4,845 thus far from 17 donors. We are appreciative for each donation given. Valero matches all gifts with an additional 7%. Our goal for this year is $10,000. There is still time from now through April 11 if you want to give to our ministry in this way. THANK YOU to all who have already given!
We will begin signing up students for summer camp at His Hill Ranch Camp in March. The camp has allowed us 30 scholarship spots this year and we are hopeful we will have a good number attending camp. It has already been announced and the students and parents are excited about this opportunity. Please pray that many will attend, summer school will not keep any student desiring to attend from going, and that they will love the environment and possibilities the camp affords them.
Please consider giving books either new or like new for our Kids Club students to choose and take with them in April to read during the summer months when Kids Club doesn’t meet. Our students have always loved that treat when we have made it available. Pray that others would give as well so we can either purchase books or give those donated in April.
One Way International is planning to give school supplies to students who live at the Kerrybrook Apartments and to all who attend camp from Kids Club at Colonial Hills. Registration will begin July 1-7 and supplies will be given out August 5. Please pray for the donations of supplies and or funds to purchase supplies to meet the needs of those who register. A complete list of supplies needed will be in following donor and newsletters.
